The Easter holidays are here but it feels like the kids have only just gone back!

You don’t want another two weeks of being stuck indoors looking at screens the whole time.

With the restrictions in place, there’s not much open and there aren’t many options.

Enjoy the spring

Thank goodness the weather’s improving! And the longer evenings means it’s a lot nicer being outdoors now.

But there’s a lot more to Oxford than just the same old parks.

Now’s a great time to get back into the city centre, before all the summer staycations arrive and it gets too busy.

Treasure Hunt Oxford is a great way to reconnect with the city.

It’s completely outdoors and you can stay away from other people. Everything’s on your phones and you don’t have to touch anything.

There’s no time limit so you can take your time and make a full day of it. Take a picnic and go at your own pace.

It’ll keep the kids out of mischief for a good few hours and they’ll be worn out after rushing around looking for clues.

You’ll have fun puzzling over cryptic clues and following treasure maps.

“Great to explore Oxford and spot unexpected details. With 11 and 12 year olds, the clues were engaging and a great way to motivate a walk.”

Suitable for kids 8+

The game’s designed for grown-ups - so you’ll enjoy it - and it’s suitable for kids aged 8 and up.

You’ll need to work together to help them with the cryptic clues.

The whole route is pushchair friendly.

Play with one other household

From 29th March we’re allowed to meet another household outdoors.

How about getting together with another family and making a day of it?

“This treasure hunt is a great way to see the centre of Oxford, have some fun and learn a few things along the way! The riddle-style clues get you thinking and the ‘treasures’ are at all levels, so you see so much more than if you’re just walking around.”
